Lenovo has launched the K5 Note smartphone in China priced at CNY 1,099 (approximately Rs 11,350). The Lenovo K5 Note will be sold via a flash sale in China. The company hasn't revealed any details about the launch of the Lenovo K5 Note outside China.
The Lenovo K5 Note features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution. The handset comes with a full metal body design. The device also comes with a fingerprint scanner placed below the camera module on the rear panel. The handset also packs Dolby Atmos powered speakers.
The Lenovo K5 Note is powered by a 1.8GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali-T860 GPU. It packs 16GB of built-in storage and supports expandable storage of up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with company's Vibe UI on top.
The Lenovo K5 Note sports a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, an f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. The handset also features an 8MP front-facing camera.
The dual-SIM dual-4G Lenovo K5 Note supports 4G LTE and is compatible with India's LTE bands as well. Other connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, and FM radio. The handset supports dual Nano-SIM and it packs digital compass, accelerometer, proximity, and ambient light sensors.
The handset is backed by a 3500mAh non-removable battery.
