Karbonn has launched a new budget smartphone, the Quattro L50 HD, in India priced at Rs 7,990. It is the first smartphone in the company's new Quattro series. The handset will be available via e-commerce websites as well as retail stores.
The Karbonn Quattro L50 HD features a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720x1280 pixels resolution. The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM. It also comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 32GB. The smartphone runs Kandy UI v1.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
The Karbonn Quattro L50 HD features a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), Blue Glass filter, and LED flash. It also packs a 5MP fixed focus front-facing camera for clicking selfie shots. The dual SIM smartphone supports 4G LTE connectivity. Other connectivity options of the phone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity.
The handset is backed by a 2600mAh Li-Polymer battery, which is rated to deliver up to 200 hours of standby time, 8 hours of 2G/ 3G talk time, and 4 hours of 4G talk time. The handset measures at 141x71x8.8mm and weighs 134 grams and is available in Coffee, Blue, and Grey colour variants from Amazon India.
