Yu Yutopia launched in India at Rs 24,999

Yu launched a new smartphone called Yu Yutopia. The smartphone is priced at Rs 24,999 and it will be sold exclusively via Amazon India. There are limited stocks and flash sales will be conducted for the device. Pre-bookings started yesterday and the device will be shipped by 26 December.

The Yu Yutopia has a 5.2-inch display with 2560 X 1440 pixels resolution along with  a pixel density of 565ppi. It also comes with 91 percent NTSC spec, pure black touch panel, OGS display with Corning Concore Glass for protection. The smartphone is powered by a 2GHz octa core Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 4GB DDR4 RAM. It also has an Adreno 430 GPU. The device comes with an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 128GB. The device runs Cyanogen OS 12.1, which is based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The smartphone comes with a 21MP rear camera with a Sony Exmor RS IMX230 sensor, dual-LED flash, phase detect AF and OIS. It also sports an 8MP front facing camera. The rear camera can shoot 4K videos. It will also come with a round finger print sensor to unlock phone as well as take selfies.

The smartphone packs in a 3000mAh battery. It uses Quick Charge 2.0 from Qualcomm. In addition, it will come with Little Bird by The House of Marley earbuds.
