Taiwanese handset-maker HTC on Monday launched a new smartphone HTC Desire 728G dual-SIM at a price of Rs 17,990. The smartphone is available in two variants – Purple Myst and White Luxury.
The new smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor coupled with 1.5GB RAM. It also features 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 2TB by using a microSD card.
The Desire 728G sports a 13MP autofocus rear camera with BSI sensor and LED flash and a 5MP fixed focus front-facing camera. It also features HTC BoomSound speakers with Dolby Audio. In terms of connectivity, the dual-SIM handset offers 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.1. However it lacks in 4G connectivity.
The handset is backed by a 2800mAh battery. The company claims that the battery delivers up to 21 hours of talk time and up to 485 hours of standby time.
"The new HTC Desire 728G Dual SIM brings distinctive design into a feature-rich smartphone, providing you with a great value smartphone that you can truly make your own," Faisal Siddiqui, president, HTC South Asia, said. He also added that they want to provide a powerful, fully customisable experience to their customers, and the HTC Desire 728G Dual SIM brings this in abundance.
