Amazon has introduced a white coloured option for its Kindle e-reader in India, priced at Rs 5,999. The device comes with a glare-free touchscreen and adjustable text size.
It comes with a 6-inch touchscreen display that reads like real paper with no screen glare, even in bright sunlight. A 20% faster processor delivers smooth and quick page turns. It comes with 4GB storage which let you carry thousands of books on the go. The device is lighter than a paperback books and it fits in your pocket.
The company says that the device’s battery will last for weeks and that it can store thousands of books. It comes pre-installed with GoodReads and Whispersyn. Also, the X-Ray feature allows users to look up the character information.
The Kindle e-book store offers access to over three million books, out of which more than a million are store exclusives. Kindle has e-books starting at Rs 99 and a subscription service to over 1 million books starting at Rs 199.
